Reception & First Contact

The ability for a team or player to control the first contact on serve, often dictates the outcome of the game.  This session will focus solely on the first contact, whether overhead using hands, or underhand using forearms.  We will walk through techniques and when to apply them.  We will also look at reception forms and strategies to help maximize the success of your team’s first contact on service reception. 

Dates: Nov 14, 2026.

2 hour session - 1 head coach and 2-4 assistant coaches based on the number of registered players.

Time: Saturday, 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Location: De La Salle H.S.

Price: $40 + HST - per session (non-refundable)
